"My wife and I had an amazing time at hotel Zed! The staff was great! Was very convenient getting to places around there and also helped that that had a coffee place and restaurant in the hotel!"

We didn’t see many creatures unfortunately. One night we ate at Pluvio (amazing, but need a reservation). The next day we hiked and toured Tofino. We just relaxed one day and ate dinner at the restaurant inside the Black Rock Oceanfront restaurant."

When I booked several months in advance, I requested an oceanfront room, but was given a room overlooking the parking lot with the ocean mostly blocked by trees. "Beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Perfect for relaxing. Rooms are modern, and bed was comfortable. The first night was quiet and the lapping water lulls you to sleep- the second night we could hear the guests above us as they were loud talkers. It doesn’t deter us from coming back though. Friendly and helpful staff. We had an issue with the TV on arrival and they messaged me quickly to say maintenance fixed it. The little taco vendor outside the hotel is top notch. Loved this...

"The accomodation was very basic, which the landlady has told us about in advance. The beds were clean, but otherwise the room wasn'tup to our standard. To shower was uncomfortable.adjusting the wazer temperature was hit or miss. Fan in the bathroom and refrigerator in the room were excessively loud. The location ist beautiful and it is quite readonably priced for Bamfield."

"Very nice room with a balcony that overlooks a lake. We got to watch some busy beavers near shore. That was a very nice surprise. On the downside... very limited front desk support, no ice, restaurant was closed and the little atore/café across the street had short hours."

"The place is nice and quiet. The towels are a bit smelly and I wasn’t comfortable to use them. I highly suggest host to take time to clean them properly. The mattress was also not good. Overall I don’t recommend it."
