"Location is the best thing since you can walk in anchorage to main gift shops and restaurants, and even the mall. It is a 3 star old hotel that needs upgrades and colors in all areas. Paying parking was not notified until i got there and it is $40 bucks a night!!! It was said parking is limited, but not a nightly rate. Continental breakfast options are not good at all. "

"It was great! It was the first positive thing to happen after a nightmare arrival trip and unexpected "no-show"cancelation from the hotel we were supposed to stay at (Wingate Wyndham Downtown--HUGE thumbs down) after our flight was delayed and were forced to fly out from Seattle the next morning. Everything about this hotel helped turn things around. Everyone was friendly, it was clean and comfortable, and they let us check it early--VERY much appreciated after a sleepless night and with 4 kids...

"Staff is very helpful and friendly. The area seems very safe. The city of Eagle River is a great little town. Lots of places to see and hike close by. We really liked Thunderbird Falls, a short drive away."

"The property was very clean and nice! Getting access through the self-check-in process was easy. What I didn't like was that we only had cold water for the shower and we were not able to get TV. I suspect that it was because it was all new. "
