Aksaray Hotels with Spa

"So happy to have found this historic gem in the lovely, cute, walkable, little town of Nevşehir. We’ve stayed at many throughout the world but this is now my favorite Boutique Hotel ever! It is BEAUTIFUL! The rooms are perfectly curated & designed to give a luxurious & romantic cave feeling. Everything from the entry foyer to the rooftop terrace overlooking the city gives a feel of cozy warmth & comfort with added luxury. This place makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time but with all the modern amenities right down to small, private hammam wet room bathrooms. There was no problem getting our jacuzzi tub filled with hot water for bubble baths & considering it was winter, the hotel stayed pleasantly warm. The owners and staff treated us like old friends. Evening wine & feasting in the communal area made us feel at home. The acclaimed Turkish hospitality was on full display. There are other caves nearby to explore and some that are for sale. While the hotel provides everything, there are nearby shops for groceries & whatever else one may need. We would definitely stay here again & again. Big thanks to the owners for making this stay the most special part of our trip. "

"We enjoyed our stay and especially loved the homemade breakfast prepared fresh every morning — a real highlight. The hotel offers an authentic cave experience, which is a novelty and something quite special to try. That said, cave rooms are unique but not necessarily the most comfortable, so it’s worth keeping that in mind. The family room we stayed in could use a bit of TLC — the bathroom air vent was an exposed pipe, and the faucet was a little loose — but nothing major. The photos on Expedia show examples from various rooms of the same type, which can be a bit deceiving. For instance, we expected a family room with a balcony and large windows, but instead we were given one on the main floor beside a busy area, with only a small window and some noise. Overall, a charming and memorable stay with warm hospitality and a few minor drawbacks."

"This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of cute Aksaray which itself is a good place to visit to learn how Turkish people actually live. Tastefully decorated, full-service property with comfortable, elegant and quiet rooms. Beautiful view from its rooftop restaurant where a full breakfast is served. This was a last minute booking after visiting the Ihlara Valley and Selime Cathedral. It turned out to be one of the top two most satisfying places so far in our trip. "
