"Unfortunately, my stay at Sofitel Dubai Downtown was quite disappointing and did not live up to the standards I expected from a Sofitel property.
From the moment I arrived, I did not feel genuinely welcomed during check-in. The service throughout the stay also left much to be desired. Room service was extremely slow, which was frustrating, especially when you expect prompt service from a hotel of this standard.
The breakfast was another disappointment. It was very standard, and during my four-day stay, I hardly noticed any variation in the selection. I expected more variety and attention to detail, particularly from a hotel of this reputation.
Overall, the experience lacked the warmth, efficiency and hospitality I was expecting. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving the guest experience."
