"We initially had an issue with our Hotels.com reservation not connecting to the hotel system. The hotel only uses Expedia (and isn’t familiar with Hotels.com). After an hour and 3 phone calls to Hotels.com, they were able to speak with the hotel owner and see our reservation in the Expedia site. After that, we had a very relaxing stay and really enjoyed the incredibly kind staff and lovely attention to our needs! The food was wonderful, very fresh, delicious and prepared efficiently. We especially enjoyed the option to eat our meals on the porch in front of our room, listening to and watching the waves of the ocean. This is a peaceful getaway —perfect for couples or families who enjoy quiet and privacy in a very serene setting."

"The place is a scam! Scam! Scam!The manager told me there's no room for me in their hotel for after I showed my receipt and hotel reservations to him he said he didn't get no notification from hotels.com he got very aggressive with me over the phone and asked me to leave and payment has been made through the hotels.com app prior to that the location on the app is not accurate to where the hotel is the location takes you to an unknown place.its a setup to rip people off their hard earned money ....I wouldn't recommend this to anybody that's looking for peace and comfort...they practically took my money and don't care and got very mad at me and chased me off the property like I came to beg. .the place is not worth it the environment is toxic and not what is looks like on the app.its a total waste of time and resources "

"The hotel was not able to honor my booking-- the rooms we booked were not available . No manager was on the site and the only staff who was there was not able to validate our Expedia booking. Alternate rooms they suggested were terrible. We ended up securing rooms in a different facility. "

"This isn’t luxury. This property isn’t as advertised; don’t be fooled by the pictures. It’s burning but luxury. It’s basically a scam. 1. The beach isn’t private. 2. The place is a construction site with vast areas incomplete, and covered by straw mats 3. There were cockroaches in the room, and insects too. The doors are not properly done, there’s huge spaces at the top and under the doors, so the mosquitoes and insects just keep coming, even after you spray. 4. The restaurant was dusty - clearly the place isn’t frequently visited - so they only clean the rooms and areas when a guest arrives. The staff look genuinely surprised to see a guest - 5. There’s just one lady at the front desk who also doubles as the cleaner, waiter, butler, everything other than chef and security. She resumes work at 9am, closes at 5 or 6 - can’t remember. And you’re basically on your own until she resumes. 6. There’s no alcohol at the bar. Zero alcohol - you would think this would be clearly advertised and guests would be informed? No. You get there before you get told there’s no alcoholic drinks at the bar. 7. Overall, it’s just such a disappointing and pretentious place that’s charging a lot of money for nothing. I actually ended up cutting my stay short and moving to another resort - and I’m very glad I did. "
