"Really lovely stay at the Angus. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff are all friendly, and attentive. Spa was quite basic (pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) but still lovely to be able to go for a swim. However, the area round the pool and spa needs some maintenance as there was plaster broken off walls, missing tiles and the roof has obviously had some kind of issue. "If you are ok staying in a hostel from the'80s then this is the place for you... the bedding and the 1 towel was clean, but older fixtures showed decades of dirt that hadn't been wiped off... definitely didn't see pictures of this place before booking"

"It was very scottish tradional posh house hotel. Staff were very polite and helpful. We loved the Laird & Soapies bar, and was given a very warm Nigerian welcome, lifting the atmosphere, and entrraining the guests."

"Front the minute I arrived it was so refreshing. Staff were chatty and so helpful. The room was spacious, spotless and had the most amazing view. The air conditioning could have been a bit stronger but that was minor. The addition of the fridge in the room was great to keep my drinks cool. So many hotels at this price don't do this. Another minor gripe was the occasional stale/cigarette smell in the lift/corridor areas but inside the room and social areas it was not an issue. I can't rate...

"Nice room with a kitchen which was great only negative was only BBC stations on large tv . Breakfast hot buffet of bacon sausages and scrambled eggs wasn't the best quality but the cold buffet was very good. Staff were excellent couldn't do enough to help .Hotel is in a good location 10 mins walk from stations. Would definitely return here if we return to Aberdeen"

"This is NOT a good stay! And the service even worse. Clearly at one point this was a vibrant bustling hub, when we stayey it was an absolute Ghost town. I was emailed to check in online, a bumpy process to say the leaset. After wasting 20 minutes on it I was told just to check in at the hotel. I saw 2 staff members for the duration of the stay, one told me to pay fo parking, the other told me it was free. I didnt take the chance and paid the overpriced parking, despite the underground...

"Showing signs of wear and tear. Very poor parking facilities with very hefty charges! When someone parked next to me I could not get in the drivers door. A lot of exterior noise from 6.00am. I was maybe unlucky with situation of room. Bed was comfortable and breakfast adequate. Better options in Aberdeen."
