"Budget motel room for sure. Hard bed, hot water was tepid at best. Tight parking."

"Despite an unprepossessing exterior, the unit was wood panelled inside, and was cosy. The living area was large and it was quiet, being located away from the main road. The stairs to the bedrooms were a bit narrow and creaky, but we had a comfortable sleep. Enjoyed our stay."

"I was disappointed there were no plates or cutlery in the room, but I guess that I got what I paid for. The heater was OK on the first day, but it wouldn’t operate on the second day. Otherwise the room was fine and the shower was great. "

"It looks like the place has been going thru renovations. The room has new kitchen and floor, may be carpet too. It is about 15-20 min. to the NP visitor center and many thrailheads and has restaurants and supermarket nearby. Since the room has full pane glass as wall and access door along the corridor ( much like patio door ) which allows full view of the mountains and also tenants walking on the corridor. For privacy, you need to close the curtain."

"Hotel was in exelent located for the mount Ruapehu. Looked like some staff were in training and one night the forgot out food order for over 1 hour. All very plesent and apologize. Not much tea and coffee in room on arrival"
