We didn’t know there was a breakfast available. Room was fairly clean. Shower had a few spots that were questionable. Vents in bathroom needed cleaned.

We’ll stay here again for sure! Breakfast was expensive, so we chose to not buy it. But it looked good. The property has been renovated and it’s very nice and so clean! Literally the bed was so perfect! We immediately relaxed and slept amazingly!

Excellent hotel within seconds of highway entrance (I80). Super clean, quiet, updated rooms with very comfortable bed and bedding, modern furniture and decor, huge TV, nice bathroom and walk-in shower with great lighting. NO yucky carpet, it’s all hard flooring in pristine condition! The grounds are clean with a large grassy area alongside the building to walk my little dog. Self parking is plentiful and convenient right outside the front door. Pleasant, friendly staff make this hotel a great pick! I’ve stayed here previously when passing through Iowa and would stay again! Highly recommend West DesMoines Marriott!

Beautiful property. We had a key card issue. But they rectified it right away. I love that after a loooong day of travel we could order dinner in our room. And pre order breakfast delivered so we can be on our way. The rooms are phenomenal!

The lobby was beautiful, the smell was too citrus based, the entrance to the pool and the fitness center had dirty rags though, the fitness center was hot and humid too. The front desk agent was nice when we checked in, but when we checked out, that front desk agent was abrupt and rude and was sitting and eating. She didn't seem to want to help. The agents should tell us where the amenities are when we check in but didn't. The room was ok, not enough toilet paper though, the towels were right by where the toilet is. The pillows were uncomfortable and there were crumbs on the couch. Breakfast was good. There was trash outside left, a general manager or housekeeper needs to do a walk around every morning but obviously didn't. The elevator was dirty and destroyed looking on the walls. Overall, ok stay. Not great. Ok.

Jim & April took a terrible 1st day experience at a terrible experience at a different hotel and turned the trip into quite an enjoyable stay. The entire place and the staff were fantastic.
