Another great stay

Another great stay. One of our favorite places in Ankeny. The only downside this trip is the hot tub was down and they say it may never get fixed. But the pool was nice and heated and felt great.

It’s our go to hotel when we are in the Ankeny area. They’re great about giving us a room on the end so it makes it easy to get our dog in and out.

Excellent location for visiting Ankeny, Huxley, and Ames. Hotel staff were friendly, and hotel had all the amenities we needed for a weekend stay. Complimentary breakfast had lots of options. Pool was small, but still fun for our family.

It was relatively clean, but the room smelled musty and the hallway carpet was dirty. No depth to the cleaning, just surface. The bathroom was updated and nice. Otherwise not a bad stay. Not a 9.... At best an 8. The breakfast wasn't bad.
