"Dover beach, restaurants and convenience store are within walking distance. My bathroom faucet was not sealed with silicone; it was moving freely while turning on the water. The sofa bed has strong piss smell. Our king bed is sinking down and pillows are not the same size. Room needs patching and cleaning throughout. Utensils are not fully functional and available, missing pieces here and there. Tenants smoke marijuana and always seep thru cracks in room. Main door not fully close/seal....

"I loved my stay at Waves. It’s unlike other all inclusives that I have been at because it’s more small and feels more intimate. The staff is incredible and always helpful. There are water sports included in your stay too - highly recommend the water tubing! I would absolutely come again"

"The staff there during my stay 7/17 to 7/22 were tremendous and one was actually a super hero. I believe his name is Junior who risked his life and dove into the beach water fully dressed. He helped 2 people screaming for help because the late evening current took them out too far. Junior who looks like a baby himself needs to be honored by the company that owns the resort. The food was good and the UMI Japanese restaurant and sizzler steakhouse was great. They also have a game room and workout gym that's great. The resort needs to get rid of the poolside chair cushions as they are an eye sore to look at. They really need the same ones like one the beach."

"The rooms were clean and the hotel staff and restaurant staff were very friendly. Nothing short of good service. They made our stay very comfortable. The rooms are well equipped with microwave, stove and everything needed to prepare meals while on vacation. We didn't use most of the amenities that were available but there are a lot of amenities and activities available at the resort and tours can also be organized through the resort. The location is ideal for vacation life as it's near St Lawrence Gap and Hastings. There are a lot of good restaurants close by and beaches as well. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Barbados. The rooms are well equipped with microwave, stove and everything needed to prepare meals while on vacation."

"The room was immaculately cleaned, the staff washed and changed the sheets everyday. Amenities were wonderful, the best fully stocked gym with equipment I’ve ever had. Food service at Calabash (the hotel restaurant) was quite slow, but the food quality and taste was excellent. So just be aware that meals do take time at the hotel property."
