The people who worked there were awesome, but the facilities are old and dirty. Cockroaches in my room, and generally untidy

Good location. Grumpy man demander a $200 security deposit. Rooms not very well equiped. Friday night music from the hotel was terrible. Could not watch tv or talk on phone. Music went till after 12.00 then patrons spilled out into car park making a lot of noise till about 2.00

Affordable, TV not functioning, no chairs in the room, room numbers not visible at night, rooms - tired and worn out. Unable to check in at reception - 1 x Eftpos machine shared between reception and bottle shop, check in completed in bottle shop.

Thank you for your feedback Liz. We apologise for any inconvenience but We haven't heard anything from you directly instead of this negative review, if you approached the management regarding TV and the issues would’ve been sorted straightaway, housekeeping leaves 2 chairs in front of every room but some guests keep taking them. Yes our rooms are old and so is our rate is cheaper in whole town. We do all our check-ins from reception but in case manager had to go to sort issue on hand then Check-in are completed from Bottleshop, in this case manager had to go to accomodation area to help other guest and we have separate eftpos for Reception and bottleshop but in that moment there was new booking so had to charge new booking in a rush that is why eftpos taken from office to bottleshop and vice versa.Thank you

While the rooms we booked were clean, and the accommodation was relatively inexpensive, it was not the greatest motel. We were not able to get rooms close to each other; the fridge in one room had such a bad ice build up that the door didn't close, and the laundry only had one functioning washing machine, which was very busy. On check-in, we asked a question about the area, and were told there were no brochures. We were also not advised that the dining room would not be open that evening. Overall, it was a place to sleep, but not a great experience. OK sums it up.

It was okay. Just hard to get into but then it’s really secure. Didn’t like the bond of $200 as there was nothing in the rooms that was worth the bond it pretty basic staff were lovely overall a good place to stay if your not sure of the outback town.

Very disappointed. Good bed but the rest was very very ordinary. Not a chair to sit on. More like a donga in a mining camp. We wouldn’t return.

We had booked and paid for two rooms via Expedia. As it turned out, the facility was closed down due to lack of staff and we were not informed of this. We then had to find alternative accommodation. All efforts to get a refund from either Boab Inn or Expedia have to date been unsuccessful. The Boab Inn has since contacted us and we have been told that the refund has to come via Expedia as the original booking was made through them. No assistance has been offered from Boab Inn.

It is what it is - a worker's camp environment, basic amenities, clean and safe at a reasonable price for the area. Unfortunately the hot water wasn't hot. Otherwise a good stay.
