"Stayed here for a couple of nights in April 2026. Lovely large room in the Tower! Had both breakfast and dinner here each day. Food was excellent. Service slow the first evening fo dinner but fine the second evening. Historic hotel with amazing wood carvings. "

"I can’t praise this hotel enough I’ve stayed all over the world in some fabulous hotels but this was outstanding.
From the moment we arrived our host Pam made us more than welcome even allowing us to take part in their Burns night that they had on that evening .
If you’re visiting this area and are lucky enough to get a room this has got to be the best place to stay ."
