"the power went out around 20:00,generator was only start about 40 min later,only giving power to the lights in the room,no power to the plug or or the fridge,we could not charge our phones or laptops,then generator was shut down,and only started up again At 06:00...all our cool drinks was hot..no this is terible"

"I booked this place for my mom and her friend who were visiting friends and didnt want to drive home in the dark. Upon arrival, they were checked in and the male reception staff watched 2 elderly woman struggle to carry their suitcases up the stairs while he watched his movie. When they got to their room, their were no towels, the bathroom tap was loose and wobbly and the tv wasnt working. They went down to call the service desk to assist, and after an hour he managed to get youtube to work,...

"Such a strange place. It is trying so hard to be amazing but falls short in many ways. A few examples: The staff enter the rooms almost every time you exit them. Even if just for a quick breakfast. This ruins any feeling of privacy. The place is located very close to the end of the runway at Johannesburg airport. This means that there is so much noice from planes landing and taking off! Within the walls it is like an oasis, but the surroundings are industrial and ugly. "

"Das Hotel ist als Zwischenstopp ganz in Ordnung. Der Flughafentransfer geht alle 30 min. Im Restaurant mussten wir mehr ca. 1 Stunde auf unser Essen warten. 3 Gerichte waren sehr gut, eines mussten wir zurückgeben da es kalt war. Der Service ist je nach Kellner von sehr gut bis hin zu ich habe das Wort Service noch nicht gehört. "

"This is an ideal location for an overnight stay for connections around Joburg Airport! A regular shuttle every 30 minutes gets you from airport to hotel door in 5 minutes. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms a little tight - but imaginative. Food and bar does an adequate job - with great staff. If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member you can collect points here too. We had flown in after a 14 hour flight - and this was a welcome place to freshen up, sustain ourselves and sleep on clean sheets...

"Our reservation for two nights was mismanaged and it took hours to resolve the issue. Front desk should have asked for a CC upon check in and did not causing several issues with the restaurant. Great location and clean. "
