Lacklustre

Not a good choice for the money...food no good, no water in room, no one cleaned or serviced during our 4 night stay....I stay in Delhi often and plenty much better options available.

Rude staff, noisy hotel and dirty rooms

Firstly, the staff tried to charge us extra taxes on our arrival and when they finally realised that our cost included taxes there was no apology for trying to cheat us. The room was ok, linens were dirty tho and only a small amount of toilet paper and water was provided for our two night stay. The rooms were not sound proof at all and it was very noisy all night, mostly because the hotel staff slept on mattresses in the hallways outside our room! They talked all night and had phones ringing constantly. The breakfast was terrible, not really sure why this is named mohan "international" as it was 100% Indian and served in a filthy room. I couldn't even eat there the second morning. Not a great stay and won't be staying here again.

Very worst experience

In last month of September i visited the mohan international hotel new delh. I visited there for one night. I booked it by hotel.com and check it at late night. If i look at the price if room it is very costely. The tarrif of room is 1700 indian rupees per night. But it is highly uncomfortable hotel. Room is very small, there are no almirah in room . Towel and bedsheet are not too clean. You can hear a lot of noice from the others room and hotel staff. The behavior of hotel staff is not good.there are No any basic facilities available in hotel. Very worst experience. I will never stay in this hotel. Only one thing is good in this hotel that it is very close to new delhi railway station.

I was unable to check in as the police had closed off the area due to flooding and a malaria outbreak. Although I rang the hotel and cancelled my booking , hotels.com have sided with the hotel and refused me a refund of my 3 weeks payment.

Descent hotel for good price in uncomfortable area

The hotel room was comfortable, the cleanliness ok for that price. The area is not the nicest, I cannot recommend to walk there, in particular in the dark. The hotel can arrange a taxi.

Decent hotel very close to New Delhi Railway Stn

I have travelled from the UK and visiting Jaipur very quickly in a day. So, needed to stay in a hotel nearer to the New Delhi Railway station. This was a perfect place to stay. This is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the station. Hotel is as it appeared in the photos on their web site - clean and well maintained.

Good location

Handy to the city, the room was nice, the water was just warm in the shower but that was my only complaint. We stayed a couple of extra days and this cost 10% more at the hotel. Watch out for the prices at the travel desk!

Overpriced hotel in center of claustrophobia

1. Room was not cleaned properly - human hair everywhere - even in the bed/bedding 2. I stayed for multiple nights at this hotel. Not even once was my room cleaned & nobody even asked me if I wanted the room cleaned. 3. Flush does not work as expected - need to flush twice 4. Shower pressure is low 5. Hot water (for shower) does not seem to be available all the time 6. Whenever available, the hot water takes about 4 min to get warm. So you will need to keep the water running till the water becomes warm - what a waste of water 7. The shower hot/cold dial was malfunctioning. I had to keep adjusting it throughout the duration of the shower. 8. The complimentary breakfast "buffet" is measly - just a butter toast, an omelet and a coffee 9. The complimentary wifi is very spotty at best. Sometimes it stops working altogether for extended lengths of time. 10. The dishes that the room service meals are delivered in were unclean - they had hair fibers on them 11. The room had poor ventilation, even with the window open - room became stuffy pretty quickly All in all, an overpriced undesirable stay in one of the most dirtiest and crowded parts of Delhi

Excellent hotel, royal feel and very clean rooms.

Best hotel to stay for couples and families. Clean and good rooms, Hotel staff was very co operative and friendly. The breakfast served was very authentic.

Shame about the location

Pros: Clean room, relatively comfy bed, decent food served in the restaurant Cons: overpowering smell throughout hotel of cleaning products , hotel advertises free wifi which is true but you get one free access code pet room so not good if both of you want to go online. Leo we saw a rat in the hotel lobby which didn't suprise us with food plates being left out. The location of the hotel is in a rough area of New Delhi. A local approached us whilst walking through the street and told us it's a very bad area and to be careful. The hotel is off the main road and it's not the place you'd like to walk down on your own . We had to take a tuck tuck ride to restaurants and there' is nothing around the hotel for tourists. The hotel was decent enough for the price but it's just a shame about the location.

Great location

Very nice, easy to get to hotel in Pahraganj. Close to the train station, and helpful staff. However, be sure to ask for a room with a safe and fridge (no extra cost), and not near the staff room (constant and very loud phone calls). All up, a great hotel to acclimatize in to the intensity if Delhi!

comfy beds and great location

The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and it was walking distance of the train station and metro station. The food was not the best, but everything else, we were pleased with.

Regretable stay

I booked this hotel for a biz trip and had a regretable stay there. We had to chase the hotel for breakfast and the overall quality of the hotel and the experience were not encouraging me to come back to this hotel again.

Realised I was in safe hand

I stayed in this hotel for a day. I booked deluxe room on c.p basis at very good tariff. I was scared to go in to the paharganj area.But one of my friend suggested me to book this hotel and soon or later i realized that i was in a safe hands. The Hotel is very near to Metro station and new delhi railway station. I had go to cannaught place which was like just 10 mins from the hotel by walking. So it was like cherry on a cake. Manager assured me that if i face any inconvenient just let us know.I was so overwhelmed by this sort of attention and care by the management. The room was spacious and properly cleaned.I was confused about what should i order for my dinner,a waiter gave me so many suggestions about the variety of dishes and made me easy to order for my dinner.The meal was delicious and less just according to palate and served hot. The hotel is not a five star but one will get the behavior of the staff even upto the standard of five star.I really had a wonderful and a safe night stay here at Mohan International.

It was misfortune to stay in this dump. Even if you dont mind the cockroaches, there is enough to feel disgusted in toilette. In four days of stay, room was cleaned just once- perhaps because I didnt tip the cleaner. On returning day, wake up call was placed but they never woke me up. When my family called to the desk to talk to me, they were told that I was not staying there. Room service tried to charge for food I never ordered. Except that it is near to the Railway station, there is nothing in this hotel to opt to stay. It is a dump, stay away if you can.
