"There were things I liked and didn’t like about this stay. The staff were really friendly, the drinks at the bar were cheap, the locals were really friendly and very social. The breakfast was good the next day and in hindsight, we should have had dinner here as it all looked home made and reasonably priced. "Our accommodation was in a block beside the castle. The window was painted shut, beds were poor, a long walk to toilets and showers and no facilities in the room. The restaurant was closed. I'm ex military and have seen better army barracks."
