"Location was perfect to catch some shows at the arena only about a 6 minute walk. Room was fine but needed some love, there were some scuff marks on the walls , the shelf with the TV wasn’t dusted in a while and could see a film of dust not a huge deal as i wiped it down with a tissue but still. Found some hairs on my bed hopefully it was just an off day for housekeeping. Everything else was nice. Super friendly front desk staff as well as at the on site restaurant. "

"The staff were very friendly and breakfast was nice. But the overall experience was really really disappointing- checked in to a sign saying the restaurant was closed but bar open still. But then they commented that this was in fact not correct and the bar was also closed. No nearby restaurants so ended up with a takeaway. The bathroom in the bedroom- well, the door didn’t shut properly, the soup dispenser said it was soap, and the door almost fell off its hinge every time it was opened. Kept us both awake all night as we couldn’t open the door without an awful noise waking the other one up. Coffee and tea facilities- no milk available, 2 mugs of different sizes. No spoons Good location for the arena though "

"Be very careful especially if you are booking via Hotels.com. Evidenced by other talking to other guests as well as our own experience. They sent an email a day before our stay asking for local taxes in order to secure the room - which on inspection later turned out to be £40 overcharged compared with the Hotels.com invoice. They sent an email the day we left advising €607 would be deducted additionally. Whilst the latter turned out to be an error, dealing with Hotels.com (who are actually Expedia) turned out to be an unpleasant experience. I had to raise my voice to get the initial call handler to escalate and the complaint was not once acknowledged. After 80 minutes I managed to get the excess tax refunded. Wholly unpleasant. Other travellers mentioned charges to cards being a problem. BE VERY AWARE"
