Will stay there again

We have stayed at the hotel 3 times now, twice with our dog and once with our baby. It's a great location close to the motorway, quiet, relaxing and for our dog it was a short drive to a nice park. Will be staying there again in the future.

Helpful tip

My seat was very good, the staff were exceptional, made me feel welcome and ever so helpful. My only question is why it does not provide information in English for non Dutch speakers. It was not so easy to navigate or use service available. That said the hotel was excellent.

The hotel is far away from everything. If you stay here then you have to eat all meals here. Taxi 35-40 euro each trip to the city Center. At the end it costed me a lot more than the nicer hotel in the Center. Our heater was broken and we suffered a freezing cold night that made us all having a cold the next day. They changed us to another room after we complained as 4 nights without heat would be impossible, but we think that the manager should offer a drink or something to make a nice gesture . A part from that the staff were nice though.

Excellent hotel, my ‘home away from home’ when I visit family in the Netherlands. Friendly staff, nice comfortable clean rooms, lovely shower, great breakfast buffet. What’s not to like!

We regularly stay at this property on our way from the UK to continental European destinations and always enjoy doing so. Our compliments on the atmosphere and great food in the restaurant, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and the fact that even travellers with dietary requirements are offered a wide and varied breakfast.

Very convenient location. Rooms were comfortable and well supplied. Excellent breakfast the best I've experienced on this entire trip which included three hotels in France. The dining room could use a bit of a broader menu and the staff should understand how to make cocktails particularly a martini

A stay for nature fans

Our family room had a beautiful view over the woods, we could even see cows. I enjoyed going out for a run or a walk, we were there to visit family in De Bilt but I wouldn't recommend the hotel for people who want to be in a central location or more in town. It's perfect for nature lovers though. Utrecht is very close, a 10-20 minutes bus ride. Good heating in the room and it looked very new. The mattresses were comfortable but moving: and the quality of the bed bases was not the best. The breakfast should be included in the price, especially given that their pool is out of service, the rooms are expensive for the location. The building itself looked cheap (ugly stairs, lift, you feel like in a hostel) the restaurant was cozy and quite classy, with good service. We only had drinks there.
