"The room had everything I needed and was quiet. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fresh towels everyday and the trash was taken out as well. I will want to stay there everytime I am in Manteo on business now!"

The hotels location is in walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Unbeknownst to us our room was on the third floor accessible up a narrow staircase, a bit of a challenge for a 83 yr. old couple."

"The most relaxing hotel stay I have had in a decade. Wonderful staff. Comfortable bed. Spotless room. Great water pressure in the shower. Stunning views. The only real issue was there is only one elevator, but given how amazing the hotel is, that is a minor consideration."

"The only issue we had during our stay was the power lines that obstruct the "ocean view". We stayed in cottage #8 right on the street at the front of the building. The "Ocean View" is somewhat exaggerated because there is two houses and lots of power lines between the cottage and the water. Saltair's website does not accurately display or mention this.
