I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was always helpful. The food was also quite good. The location is excellent and feels very safe. I had everything I needed during my stay. Big thanks to the entire team—highly recommended!

Having stayed at several other properties on the peninsular I decided to stay at the Coral Beach because of it's proximity to the Dar Yacht Club. Check in was uneventful. The rooms are dated and I didn't have any view to speak of. The outside restaurant is pleasant with a good view of the bay, but despite being friendly many of the wait staff have poor english. You have to have patience when making yourself understood.

Excellent Hotel. The view is really beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff Jorge and Happy (restaurant) were always very helpful and attentive. I just had a small problem with the internet on one of the days.

The hotel is tired. My room, a garden room with terrace on the ground floor smelt of paint and the aging furniture looked as though it had been hastily painted with white ceiling paint. The a/c unit sounded like a tractor starting up. The staff were friendly, but apart from those manning reception it was difficult to make myself understood, mainly in the restaurant. Overall my experience was average, and I probably wouldn't stay there again, nor recommend to friends/family.

We highly enjoyed our stay at the Coral Beach Hotel. The view was stunning and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. For example, during breakfast, after making a comment about how much I liked the Masala tea, staff member, Seif, brought me a separate pot of freshly made tea. During our entire stay, Seif, and the other staff members, made sure that all of our needs were well attended to.

Great location but no beach

Coral Beach Hotel is a lovely property with a good pool and food both from room service and at their beautifully-located waterfront outdoor restaurant. Unfortunately, it does not have a beach for ease of access to the water. You can access the water from some slippery stone steps only.

Its under construction do not go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was moved 3 times within 12 hrs due to A/C and construction only to find out that my room was next to a electric hammering device and could not rest. I have never stayed in such poor conditions.

I have stayed at this hotel for a long time and unfortunately it’s become very moldy and run down - really could use a facelift and some support. The staff are so kind and welcoming, but the smell from the dripping air conditioner was just so mold and mildew laden it made it an uncomfortable stay. I also noticed the bedspread was stained and just wish it would’ve had some updates, which I’ve seen some of the other rooms near the front desk have done.

Wonderful location. Has a pool. Beachside restaurant has good food and service and nice views. You can technically go into the ocean from their “private beach” using some stairs, but it’s heavy in coral and sea urchins there, so if you want a beach experience where you go swimming in the ocean, you should look elsewhere. The AC wasn’t working when I arrived and they had to fix it, which they did fairly quickly. The plug in the bathroom came out of the wall. So they could have done more on preventative maintenance.

A disappointment !

I had a junior Suite ! There is NO minibar and the hotel only provide 2 bottles of water a day ! There was heavy renovation been done in the rooms around me. This resulted in noisy situations ! No communication from management our compensation what so ever ! Wine list is the worsted ever had seen or tasted ! When they bring you white wine there is no ice, when you order red, it's way to hot and not drinkable ! The hotel staff is friendly but at any time of my 5 days stay they do not make you feel special. Obviously as there are rooms under renovation, I do not need to mention that my room was not what I expected but clean ! Air-conditioning failed one night as well but was solved the day after ! I was not impressed by the single ladies who where sitting at the bar in the evening for the purpose which should not be in a family hotel !
