Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. This will definitely be my go to place whenever I visit. My only negative was that the bed wasn't as plush as I'm used to, but that's a preference not a problem.

We came to Danville for a quick night getaway for my bf’s birthday and The Bee did NOT disappoint!! I personally love a boutique hotel and this one was AMAZING! I had originally booked the king deluxe room and decided before arriving thag I wanted to upgrade it to the suite. When I called, I inquired about any discounts (first responder, medical, or educator as we both work in medicine/education) and they provided the cost difference. I was prepared to pay the difference and after some challenges with the system in processing the upgrade (on the hotel’s) end, they gave us the upgrade complimentary! I was so surprised and excited because it was his birthday and it was the sweetest surprise! The staff was incredibly kind when we checked in and both our dinner reservation (The Schoolfield Restaurant) and night out (Casino) were within 2 miles of the hotel. The room was literally a stocked apartment with everything needed (next time we’ll get a few groceries) and the crazy high ceiling in our room just added the urban hangout suite vibe of the room. It was clean, comfortable, and a whole vibe!! The Bee Hotel is definitely a fave of mine now and we will be looking forward to our next stay next time we are in Danville, Va. ☺️

As others have said, parking is not convenient. The room, the staff were excellent. The Riverwalk area is picturesque and a desirable area to explore.

This place is adorable. Very unique since it was an old bank. Historic town. The Bee theme is throughout. Very cute.

Clean. Well appointed. Nice large room. The ceilings are high which is nice, but makes it difficult to warm up in the winter. Beautiful hotel and lobby.

I did not like that there is no parking on premise. It made it difficult to get my bags into from my car into my room at night by myself. The overall experience was great and I liked the room.

We do have a loading zone on Patton Street (next to the guest entrance) where some of our guests prefer to unload before parking, and our team is always happy to assist when needed! Downtown boutique hotel. Online prices are competitive with other hotels but this is much nicer. Wonderful rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Old newspaper building Tip: Hotel address is 420 Patton Street. Park there and walk around the corner to find the lobby. Stairs to the third floor are good so stay on the 3 floor to save some $$$. I would stay here again. It’s lovely and super clean. It’s near the courthouse in downtown Danville.
