"Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to local restaurants and bars. Our room was "City view" and it was a bit loud but they give ear plugs. I would recommend a portable fan or white noise to help. It didn't effect our sleep. My husband and I stayed 2 nights and went hiking. Ricketts Glen State Park and Falls were 1 hour 20 minutes away and well worth the travel there and back for a great day trip. The falls were amazing! "Traveling for leisure, requested a handicapped room as I walk with a cane. At no time did the person checking me in ask me to confirm what room type I had requested, I got a standard 2 dbl bed room with a tub. I requested a walk in shower. I thought it was odd that the front desk manager rather than walk around the desk to address a computer issue was sitting on the desk to fix the matter, but it was apparently easier. "The positives first - The staff here was very kind and helpful. The check-in process was quick and easy! The staff at the breakfast service was kind and cheerful. Cottages look great from the outside however the one I stayed in needs an upgrade!(#50) The bedroom was fine(except for paint peeling on the ceiling) and the blinds and balance were outdated and fridge was noisy. "Everything was great with the exception of the rude, disconnected, nonchalant, and unpleasant hotel clerk who was at the desk when we checked out at 12:23 pm, Monday, June 22, 2026. That clerk has the customer service skills of brick wall. She was not hospitable at all, and certainly not an asset for your hotel. Her name is TT. She was relieved at 3:00 pm."

"I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay"
