"The room was clean. The baseboard was falling off. The bathroom was just big enough to turn around in. The bath faucet had a hole, but worked. The TV cable was unplugged and take a couple hours to get someone toplug it back. You can telkthus place needs hallway maintenance also. The day manager was very nice though."

"I am not one to write reviews but this hotel was absolutely disgusting. The towels were so stained I asked for more cause I was afraid to use them. Mind you they also gave me a total of 3 towels for my stay. There was what seemed to be blood on the bathroom door, carpet was so gross I kept shoes on, the shower curtain was so gross I kept it outside the shower so it wouldn't touch my body, one of the beds looked to have something like pieces of charcoal on the cover and smeared when I touched it. On top of how gross it was I have never been to a room that had BARELY anything in it, like I said 3 towels TOTAL, no tissues, no extra toilet paper, no soap for the sink only shower. Additionally my toilet clogged during my stay which I informed the staff that morning and said I would be gone all day and asked if someone could fix. Arriving back at 8 PM no one ever came to fix so I had an nonworking toilet for half my stay. I couldn't wait to check out - I did not ask for a refund to checkout as when asking me for extra towels another group of people seemed to be trying to get a refund for the state of their room and it seemed it wasn't going well."

"The room was spotless and the amenities were nice. The building is historic, with thin walls, meaning hallway noise is likely. We used earplugs and were fine. Bloomington is very walkable and staying on campus worked well for our visit. We had no issues finding parking in the designated lot, included in the cost of the room. Overall, we were happy with our experience at this hotel and would recommend to others."
