"The Kelvin is always where I stay when I'm in Oban. Not only is it a convenient location next to the train and ferry stations, but the accommodations are clean and cozy. Sheena, the manager is very welcoming and the bartender Danny was a pleasure to talk with. The bar area is especially inviting with a good selection of beers on tap. You can't go wrong here. "

"The property was walkable to all of the sites in Oban including the ferry terminal. It offered free parking. Breakfast was not included with the room, but there were plenty of restaurants close by."

"We stayed here to do some walking on the WHW. Our room was very spacious and clean, it was cleaned every day and coffee and milk etc was replenished each day. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The bar area was a little outdated but still fine for a drink after a long days walking. What really stood out was the lovely staff, they were all so friendly and happy to help. We would definitely stay here again."
