I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. "This place is amazing! The cottage is so lovely, has everything you need and there was even a little welcome basket of coffee and snacks for us! The kids had the best time playing on the beach! We are so happy we chose to stay here. A short drive to inverness and located the cutest little village. If you stay here go to the cheese pantry! We had the most amazing stay with our family including 3 little kids! Also the most amazing sunsets! We literally would live here if we could!"

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"Wonderful spot, especially with kids, as the common space has a slide, pirate ship climber, farm animals to see (goats, chickens, ponies) and grass to run on. The glamping cabins were quite clean and "cozy", as you'd expect, but we fit 3 adults and 3 kids in there. We were able to buy some firewood for a cooking fire. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to get a bit of a camping experience. Owners were very friendly as well, and generally available as needed."

"Urgently needed a room for the night due to bereavement and booked this as it was cheap. Keys for room needed collection from sister hotel a couple of minutes walk away, the receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room however was very basic (which was not really a problem for the time we were there but did intend to stay possibly longer). The bathroom was dirty and mould on the tiles.
