Great small hotel in great location in Almadies

A great hotel, very good location, rooms were lovely and spacious. Garden and pool downstairs were also very nice. Would definitely stay here again on next trip to Dakar.

What "stood out" about La Residence is "all of the above" - clean room, charming and helpful staff (front desk, guard, kitchen, and cleaning), amenities that provide ample space to work and/or relax indoors and outside. I have been there many times and will be back!

We had a lovely time staying at La Residence. The location in les Almadies is quiet, and is conveniently located near many restaurants and bars by the ocean. If we ever visit Dakar again, we’ll definitely be staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and always willing to help us have a great stay. We enjoyed the meals we ate at the hotel as well. They made it easy for us to navigate Dakar as first time visitor

La Residence is Impressive

La Residence is a great hotel. Clean. Friendly. Peaceful. It was a great refuge from the hustle and bustle of Dakar. I could smell the cleanliness on entering the premises. I highly recommend this place.

The location is perfect for a vacation. You are close to everything you would need. Rooms are big and clean all over exept the walls. The staff is very friendly and helped as much they good even doh their english is not perfect. Breakfast was good the first they, then they by some reason change it to something else. Overall happy with my stay and would recommend them for a week vacation in Dakar.

I have stayed at La Residence probably 5-6 times over the last 5-6 years. It is a lovely spot close to great dining options by the sea. Some of the rooms are quite spacious. The standard ones are fine. The pool and bar area are inviting. All of the staff are helpful but I would say that most are not very pleasant which is not usual for Senegal which is known for its Terranga. The property could also use a bit of renovation. But I am likely to continue to return unless another reasonably priced place in Les Almadies comes up. This quartier is my favorite when staying in Dakar - quiet, lots of amenities, less traffic and convenient to getting down and around town.

This is an amazing hotel in Dakar! Great community and close to supermarket and great restaurants ! Love this hotel and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Feels like home, rooms are big and comfortable and breakfast amazing. I didn’t use the pool but was clean!
