"We had a nice ocean view it was a nice room . They helpeded us arrange our diving trips. A private beach. They did get a little too strict regarding entering the water . It was hard to walk on hot sand to get to snorkeling area. But we loved the place."

"Great dive hotel on a lovely beach. Communication prior to stay was excellent, room was clean and comfortable and bar restaurant was awesome. Most importantly, they were brilliant to dive with - the first boat out in the morning and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again when we’re next in Malapascua"

"Not at all like the pictures. Internet was awful. No fridge, bed was hard, one sheet, no blanket or comforter, coffee was instant, water was brackish, a lot of poverty, tried to put in awful room and shared bathroom, door fell off when I went to use it, paid for an ‘upgrade’ to have my own bathroom. Window in bathroom wouldn’t close. Go to one of the other hotels. "

"A great spot if you’re swimming and diving all day and just want a place to rest your head at night. But amenities are unfortunately not as stated. There’s no Wifi in the rooms despite what the website says, and the Wifi in the public area doesn’t work. Also, I took my backpack on an excursion with me one day, so the cleaning staff assumed I had left altogether. They removed my other belongings and gave my room to someone else even though I had reserved it for 3 more nights. An honest mistake, but I was very confused about why this happened."

"Unfortunately Jolitosplace is not open at present. I arrived late in the evening to find it padlocked shut. The local villagers tried to help me, but they discovered that the hotel owner is away and their hotel is not open for business. Fortunately they helped me find alternative accommodation. I am now trying to get a refund as full payment was taken online, despite the hotel being closed for business. It should not be listed on hotel.com"

"Buena Vida is a beautiful resort. It has a beautiful vibe and very cozy and homey feel. The staff and cleaners all made us feel welcome upon arrival and made sure we felt comfortable and that we were free to ask for anything we needed at any time throughout our stay. We were also able to request a romantic package which is perfect for couples. It includes a spa massage, a private jacuzzi and an intimate dinner for two which is perfect for anniversary celebration. I highly recommend Buena Vida resort if you are planning on making a visit to Malapascua Island. We cant wait to be back."

"For my money, Blue Corals is the best value on Malapascua Island. The staff are amazing and even gave me a free upgrade to a room with a private balcony with a ocean view. The Mango Pancakes at breakfast Time are to die for, my one and only complaint is it seems the island shuts down around 8pm and their is nothing really to do."

"It an amazing resort very relaxing but need to improve water pressure in the bathrooms, overall still recommend to my friends and will definitely come back"
