This hotel is gorgeous. Owners take great pride in keeping the hotel clean and comfortable for their guests. I appreciated the bonsai trees and the work that goes into them. Beautiful! The rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast was also very delicious and fresh.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einem herrlichen Außenbereich. Für Entspannung sorgt der Pool und die leise Umgebung. Die Altstadt und Hoi An Memories sind fußläufig leicht zu erreichen.

The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive. Check in was fast and cordial. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. As soon as you walk in, you see the beautiful swimming pool in the courtyard and many bonsai trees. The architecture and furnishings are beautiful. We stayed in the double family suite, which was huge for the three of us. The hotel is in a great location just down the street from the main road of shops and restaurants. Overall we just loved the Bonsai Villa and regretted leaving! We will stay again on our next trip, 5 stars are absolutely deserved!

Bonsai Villa was a wonderful to stay and easy walking access to Hoi An Ancient Town. Autumn, who checked us in, explained everything in great detail and made sure that we chose our breakfast items for the next morning. She was very kind and helpful. Our family of four shared one room and we were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Hoi An.

Good place away from all of the noise!
This Villa had everything that we needed for our stay, it was across the bridge which we loved for some peace and quiet. The owner had a great attitude and helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast was ok, but it was good taking everything in consideration! Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in Hoi An
We were two friends staying at Bonsai Villa for 3 nights, and we can only give our best recommendations. The room was big, clean, nice bathroom/shower and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and made to order (we ordered the night before, and then they had it ready when we came down in the morning, so no waste of food not being eaten!). The entire place has a very cozy feel, with the garden filled with the beautiful bonsai trees, and in easy walking distance to the central old quarter of Hoi An (but away from the mass tourist circus!). The staff was also helpful in providing us information about sights and helping to organize transfer. We also borrowed bicycles for free, however I need to say that they were in very poor condition, so would not count on using them for a longer bike trip around town.

Wonderful stay at beautiful Bonsai Villa. Very clean rooms with very comfortable bed and good breakfast. In a lovely quiet area so you get a good sleep. Only a short walk to the market and Old Town. Plenty of transport options if you don’t want the short walk. We appreciate all their help with recommendations for eating, laundry etc.

Bonsai Villa. Simply the best
This family run hotel is the perfect place to stay in Hoi An. It was quiet and had a great clean swimmimg pool for cooling down in the heat. The beds were great, breakfast was superb. Autumn was very helpful in arranging train trips and tours and local points of interest. Bottom line, this would be my hotel of choise if I ever returned.

The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. Pool is nice and the outside area is lovely. Room is nice and spacious and generally quite clean although towels have been grubby. Breakfast is good, you choose the night before what you want. Location is good and just a short walk to the market. It’s also great that they let you use the bikes.

Surtout, séjournez à Bonsai homestay, un vêritable hôtel trois étoiles. "AUTUMN la proprietaire de ce lieu ravissant, calme et à coté du centre ville du vieux HOï AN recoit ses guests avec grande gentillesse et attention. Le petit dejeuner est à la hauteur de nos demande. Lieu extremement propre, grandes chambres avec salle de bain desing et la possibilite de se detendre dans une maglfique piscine entourée des plus beaux bonsaïs.. Un vrai havre de paix.

A fabulous find in Hoi An
You will not find a more aestheically pleasing place to stay in Hoi An. It's filled with gorgeous bonsais, a koi pond, and wonderful singing birds (caged). The decor is tastefil, modern and comfortable. Everything is in excellent repair and kept spotless. Autumn, the owner, is welcoming and kind and speaks great English. Great breakfasts too as well as bicycles for free use. I found it calm and restful and much needed after walking around in the bustle if old town all day. Bonsai is on the very non-touristy island of Cam Nam, yet only a 7 minute walk from the central market and the old City. You won't regret staying here!

Dejligt sted hvor man har lyst til at komme igen.

Der Name Bonsay hält, was er verspricht.
Ein lauschiger, ruhiger Ort. Das Homestay heisst nicht nur Bonsai. Im schönen, sehr gepflegten Garten stehen viele prächtige Bonsais. Ein herrliches Ambiente!

absolutely superb stay at this lovely quaint location. Autumn and her family , including her beautiful 3 year old daughter and 3 adorable chiwawawas , made us feel so so welcome. couldn't fault anything at all and so central to old town. We left early as hadn't realised it was winter and still rainy season but nothing to do with hotel or staff. thru were faultless. we will definitely be returning . The bonsai trees outside were out of this world as were the other small additions and I couldn't recommend highly enough. as for any trips etc autumn organised all this for us and couldn't have helped more. thank you so much for a great stay xxxx

Nice homestay in Hoi an
This very nice homestay a few minutes away from the heart of old town Hoi an is a perfect spot for a quiet stay in this amazing city. On Too of the very nice owners , the more than 70 bonsaïs garden and the pool makes this place a good place to rest after a day at the beach or in Hoi an old district. The lend bikes for free , perfect to visit the city and even head to the beach . Definitely a good choice

Just Outside of Town
This homestay probably has the most tranquil courtyard of any on Cam Nam island outside of Hoi An. The room and bath were the largest of any I stayed at in Vietnam in the same price range. And it is only a 10-15 minute walk outside of the main area of Hoi An.

Excellent overall value.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice property and garden, lot of bonsai tree and dedicated work to maintain the garden. Location is good, about 10 minutes to where the action is in Hoi An but yet very quiet to rest. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Best place to stay in Hoi An
We stayed here for 17 nights and couldn't fault it. Great position, fabulous hosts, comfortable room, delicious breakfasts and a nice pool to cool off in on hot afternoons. Don't stay anywhere else.

Would stay again
This homestay is a great place to stay if you visit Hoi An. Located just a 10 minute walk from town (5 minutes by bike provided free by the homestay). It is very relaxing and quiet after a hot day in town or at the beach. Large rooms, all opening out to the bonsai garden. The garden is also a place to sit an talk with other guests, read, talk to the hosts about trips you want to take, or just for a dip in the small pool to cool down. Good breakfast, and good sleep quality. Both AC, fan and mosquito net in room. They also provide airport transport (both ways), and a driver if you want to go off by yourself to see places. Very good wi-if connection. Hoi An is a must-visit in Vietnam, people are friendly and helpful. Go for the recommended spas if you want quality massage, and remember to bargain with the the tailors and shops

Five minutes from the old town
Bonsai Homestay is an oasis calm in the hustle and bustle of Vietnam. I visited there towards the end of a whistle-stop tour of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and it was one of the best places I stayed by far. The family who run it are really chilled out and helpful. Attentive, friendly, but not in your face. The room was well equipped with aircon, a great shower and really strong wifi. If you're going to Hoi An, the Bonsai's worth a visit.

Homely with Lovely People
I stayed here for twelve nights. It is absolutely delightful and situated in a residential area within easy walking or cycling distance from the old town. The family made be feel thoroughly at home. My room was large and clean with excellent security. There is good wardrobe space and air conditioning. It was really like being a guest within the small community and provides a wonderful insight into the day to day lives of the local people. People are friendly and there are local small cafes and restaurants some of which are excellent and cheap. One restaurant is opposite the town market and has seating by the river. Autumn speaks good English and the family, including Lulu the little dog will make you feel at home. The included breakfasts are amazing. There are free bicycles and Can Nam Island is well worth exploring. The Bonsai garden is relaxing and private. There is a small pool.

Das homestay liegt in einer ruhigen und sicheren Gegend, zur Altstadt von Hoi an sind es zu Fuß ca. 5 min. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und bieten alles was man braucht, AC, Ventilator, Kühlschrank, separates Bad. Das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen nach Wunsch zubereitet und man so lange sitzen wie man will.

Best hotel I've stayed in in Vietnam!
My partner and I had an amazing experience here amoungst the beautiful Bonsai garden. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The pool is clean and welcoming! Breakfast is included and the menu is amazing (better than local restaurants!) The location is perfect as it is a 5 minute stroll over the bridge into the old town. The owners are lovely and solved any questions or queries we had about Hoi an, including organising a scooter hire for us at an unbeatable price as well as airport pick up and drop off from Danang airport door to door! I'll be staying here again if I come back!
