"This place is a birder’s paradise. They have every tropical habitat you could want on the back trails, and proper guides to spot the birds. The rooms are very good, the front desk staff was charming. The views are spectacular. The feeders are jammed with birds. Only negative was that we were almost totally rained off for 24 hours, but that’s what can happen in a rainforest. I already want to return. "

"The lodge may not look luxurious but the staff make sure you feel like it is. Insuring all your needs are met. The staff were amazing, first class! All meals were a beautiful presentation and they got to know you and then catered to your tastes. He mad my husband a fresh picante sauce. We loved the location. "Room was spotless and comfortable. Beautiful spot. Host was great! Only thing I could suggest is the proper amount of towels for the amount of guests booked. We only had two towels for three guests. But this doesn’t affect how we feel about the place! Great stay!"

"Absolutely wonderful hotel! An amazing space that feels like staying in a rainforest but with all the amenities you could ask for. The restaurant was amazing and the same price as mediocre food in town. Great location close to the tourist sites with a great view of the volcano. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! "

"Jungle vibes, sweet staff and very clean rooms. But the poolsides were messy and dirty in the mornings. For whatever reason emergency lights went on at 3am one night & would not turn off, disturbed our sleep. Entrance presentation needs a facelift. I’d rate the resort a 3.5-4stars. "
