A nice new hotel, very well located near to Plaza de Armas. The reception staff were very friendly, helping to take my luggage to the room and also to the taxi when leaving - the road is closed to traffic so you have to arrange for a taxi to stop in a nearby street, just something to keep in mind as it can be tricky to wheel luggage along the cobbled streets.
The hotel does not provide breakfast, but there are plenty of options nearby. It would be great if they could offer breakfast in future, so that you can enjoy the hotel surroundings.
The bedroom was very nice, comfortable bed, there was an electric heater to warm the room. Bathroom was a good size, lovely hot shower.
There was a lot of loud music during the evening and night, I'm guessing there was a bar/nightclub nearby. I could still hear the music at 6am, so that could be an issue if you're a light sleeper.
Two minor things that were annoying - there is no signage for the hotel, so you need to locate the hotel using the number rather than the name. And also the hotel is behind a locked metal gate, so you have to ring the bell and wait for staff to let you in (they were very quick so not really an issue) and a staff member has to come and unlock the gate to let you out. Maybe it's a security thing, but it would be nicer if guests could freely come and go, maybe with their own key for the gate?
