"The mansion has been beautifully restored. The canopy bed was very comfortable. The deep bath with jets and bath balm were a treat after a long day of travels along with the cookies and tea. A delicious homemade breakfast was served in the dining room with fine china, silverware, and crystal. We stayed only one night. On our next trip to Louisville we will stay more. "Room was very clean, parking was easy on site. My complaint - There is only one ice machine in the entire property and it was out every time I went to use it. I was in town working an expo, and I needed to fill up my insulated thermos each morning with ice so I’d have cold water to drink for the 10-12 hours I’d be working. Evidently, there was a kids baseball league that was staying at the hotel as well, and they would fill up their coolers with ice every day and then the ice machine would break...

The staff is helpful, friendly and welcoming. If you just want a cute place to lay down, great space.
