"Disappointing. Last time we visited we had a power cut, this time we couldn’t use the bath due to plumbing issues. To cap it all breakfast was chaos. The hotel was busy due to an event, there was no filer coffee but staff left us waiting without information. No sausage, bacon, egg except one or 2 portions coming out piecemeal. No natural yogurt or fruit salad, toaster out of order. We are pretty patient but this was unnecessary if planning had been put in place.
Yes the room rates are low and...

"The room was not ready when we arrived but the staff finished within a reasonable time. We had a couple of issues with the room that rhe staff took care of. When we placed a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, the lovely housekeeping staff left us a sweet basket full of toiletries and needed item. So thoughtful."

"We smelled the damp carpet along the stairwell and was informed that there was a recent burst pipe. Indeed, there was a sign about fresh paint. However, cheap air refresher was used to hide the smell which didn’t do a good job. Room is relatively clean but not enough plugs for our modern use. Very dated. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was really pleasant although not outstanding. Staff has been extremely helpful at check in and allowing us to park until 3pm after checkout as we were...
