"An extraordinary escape, where hospitality shines in every detail. The grounds are meticulously kept, the atmosphere is effortlessly relaxed mixed with luxury views, and the culinary offerings are phenomenal. However, the true standout was the team and how they seemed to anticipate my every need before I even voiced it at times. It’s rare to find a place that balances high sophistication with genuine warmth so effortlessly. If you do yourself a favor and go, please tell them their new friend...

Casa Chitic Hotels

8/10 Good

"Excellent, unique boutique hotel. Lots of stairs. but that doesn't bother us, especially as they insisted on carrying our luggage up and down for us. The staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast restaurant was delightful - the space was really cool, good variety of good food and a very helpful server. Downsides throughout Europe, really - hard mattresses, no facecloths, and no top sheet - we lost a lot of sleep everywhere because we were too warm, but then too cold when we removed the comforter. As most places, when we asked for a sheet, they obliged by giving us a duvet cover. Overall, I'd really recommend The Casa Chitic."

Safrano Palace

8/10 Good

"Great location, right across front center square. Walking distance from Black Church. Many restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was really good. My only complain is that they don't clean the rooms. They provide clean towels but they don't clean rooms. I'm not sure if all hotels do that, but I was a little disappointed about that. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. We didn't have a lot of interaction with staff and sometimes it felt like nobody was working there, but it didn't bother us. We were a little lost with what to do and was hoping that staff will offer some assistance with that but we had to rely on google to find things to do on our own. When we checked out I was hoping to get asked if we had a pleasant stay or not, but the process to check out was just to leave key at the front desk so it felt more like a rental instead of hotel but again it was a learning experience."

Conacul Ambient

10/10 Excellent

"Loved the rooms! They were very nice, clean and spacious! The showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water; however, do not count on the mounting for the showerhead (does not hold it). The food was very good. I had the trout one night and it was cooked to perfection (highly recommend). The goulash tasted very good; however, the portion was very small. I would advise a larger portion. The salads, pasta and desserts was amazing. The indoor pool is incredible and the bathrobes actually fit this big guy! From start to finish, this hotel is one of the best I have visited in Romania. Please visit and ENJOY!!"
