"If you want a remote property with lovely facilities, this is the one. A rustic small cottage with a beautiful courtyard to have your meals and look out over the French countryside. The pool area is nice and could do with a little update but was a great area to relax. No many French properties have pools and this one is a combination of a hot tub and a pool. "A very pleasant stay at the Grand Hotel and especially due to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They truly make you feel at home in the beautifully refurbished hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but would be even better if a little fridge was added because with the recent heatwave, you need to have fresh water in the room. Another improvement would be in the restaurant. Although the quality of the food on offer is absolutely excellent, the choice is limited and the same every night. If a few simple dishes were added to the menu, it would help people who are staying more than one night as the town of Evaux-les-Bains does not offer a lot of places to eat at. Still an excellent choice of hotel with a lovely pool and spa."

"There was no air conditioning in the bedroom as it was broken The A la Carte menu choices was the same every day we ask for Fries and was told the kitchen did not have the facilities for this? The reception staff were receptive but looked glum - we asked if they could arrange for a taxi for us and was told they would not do this The setting was breathtaking The spar and pool facilities were good The female bar tender was very helpful and accommodating with requests The cleaning ladies were cheerful and very helpful"
