"This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. "Room was nice and cosy , unfortunately had to leave for work every day to early for breakfast but there were some bits and pieces there if I wanted , plenty of hot water for a bath , bed was nice and comfortable, the only bad thing was someone had been in the room and taken my shampoo and razor the day before I left so could not was my hair or have a shave "

"Peter was very welcoming upon our arrival. The cleanliness is exceptional, and is amongst the best we have ever experienced. Thought has been given to the smallest detail, The interior design, decor and ambiance is outstanding. Dave and Peter serve up a wholesome breakfast treat, which on its own makes us want to return. It is very close to the Goodwood motor racing circuit. This was perfect to enjoy a weekend getaway. For a bed and breakfast, our experience may be likened to a five star hotel....
