Extremely clean motel with a 5 minute walk to downtown Cowes. Friendly staff. Heated pool, kids play area, park in front of your room. You would be hard pressed to find another gem like this.

Comfortable bed, great shower, friendly owner, easy parking, and it takes less than ten minutes to walk to the Cowes main strip. The only fail was that my room was equipped with The World’s Most Uncomfortable Chairs - narrow rattan stacking chairs, designed for cafes that don’t want you to linger - problem solved by putting a pillow on top to sit on.

this property has good clean rooms most on gound floor about 4 up these terrilbe dangerous steel stairs we were in our 70 s and after two nights i had had enough steep and not safe when raining,like to know how they got them passed

you should have asked to be moved down stairs when you arrived and we would have done our best to move you they are normal stairs and they have non slip paint on them for when they are wet

It's the smaller Motels like the Seahorse that remind you that there are often better options than the large chain establishments. The staff are very helpful, and the setup of the room and overall facility is excellent. While I was travelling by myself it's not difficult to see that the Seahorse is a fantastic place for families visiting Phillip Island, and being able to walk up to the main restaurant strip or just down to the beach is amazing. The on-site BBQ area and pool area a fantastic option for people who don't want to walk the two blocks. I'm definitely staying there again. Great !

We were very fortunate to secure our booking at short notice when we were attending a conference nearby. The Sea Horse Inn staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful and rang me after we returned to Melbourne to advise us that my husband had left his medications behind. Our stay was enhanced by the proximity to Cowes shopping centre and wonderful eateries on the waterfront. Cowes has a unique heritage of wildlife and protected parklands which we enjoyed during our down-time, and is an easy drive from Melbourne for those getaways.

Lovely motel within walking distance of Cowes main shopping/dining area. Room was very spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and large bathroom. Grounds are well kept with a pool and playground for children.Would have received a 5 star rating if the Dryer in the Laundry was working.
