"The breakfast is amazing ! Delicious full English breakfast with croissant and juice. We enjoyed it very much. It was quiet as there are only 5 accommodation rooms above the restaurant. "

"We had a wonderful stay at No. 29. Our host, Chris, was very welcoming and thoughtful. We loved the personal touches, from the delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake waiting for us on arrival to the cafetière coffee provided in our room. Our room was peaceful, quiet, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, perfectly cooked with a wide selection, including even more homemade cake and the best homemade bread I’ve ever tasted! Chris is a lovely, friendly host, and we highly recommend...

"Brilliant stay here.. beautiful country location but close to the town. The ladies who greeted us and looked after us were friendly, accommodating and just genuinely great people. Wish we could have stayed longer! Hope we will be back"

"Room was pretty clean but felt like I had walked into a time paradox as the room felt like it was from the 90's, bed skirt was damaged and the bath also heavily stained and damaged as well. Quiet location and slept pretty well but I always search for a hotel with a gym however expedia needs to start filtering hotels like this out as a basic room costing into 3 figures and then im being asked to pay to use the gym which is totally out of order in my opinion. The bar was obscenely expensive (£4.85 for a soft drink) and the bar tender dipping the glass into the ice as well a massive H&S issue so didnt bother with dinner and breakfast was also not included either. As a whole not the worst place ive been but unlikely to stop here again"
"We had a wonderful overnight - the bell staff were very good to recommend to us we organize a time for our luggage pickup and also arranged for a taxi for us to the cruise termina
Bravo and thank you!"
"Great room, clean and very spacious. No trouble parking, although it is an additional charge. Breakfast was lovely, lots of things to choose from and all of them delicious.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again"
"Stayed quite a few times here. The bed on this occasion was not in a good state. Both bases on the double bed were sagging in the middle so it was not good occasion"
"Great place to stay
Very central and a short walk to most things
No A/C but fortunately the weather was cool
The biggest complaint is not being able to open the windows because of a security strap. This was a great disadvantage"
"Visited whilst they are under some form of renovation, so lifts weren't working and it was a maze trying to find our rooms as there were no signs up. Lot's of construction mess everywhere.
Breakfast was pretty poor, sausages seemed to have been cooked for 5days as they were tough as anything.
Best thing was the evening meal in the restaurant, very nice food. The staff were all very polite and helpful.
Stayed here as we were visiting the historic dockyards and the location was perfect for this."
