"The Prince Consort is a nice local pub which also has rooms for bed and breakfast. I enjoyed the full English breakfast, which included very good quality bacon and sausages and all the usual ingredients. The coffee was especially delicious. I was visiting for a family funeral which was catered for there too. The buffet for the wake was also very good."

"The property was pretty central, walking distance to eateries and shops, good parking. Stuart was very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was your choice, plentiful, freshly cooked and my room was spotless, cosy bed and hot shower. I liked it a lot."

"The rooms are cleaned and maintained to a very high standard and balance the picturesque features of the cottages with modern amenities - a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and milk-alternatives provided, a small TV (as if you want to stay inside when the New Forest is minutes away on foot!) WiFi and pristine en suite. The bed was very comfortable, with lots of big, soft pillows to suit anyone's sleeping habits, and nice soft towels and quality soaps were provided. I met with friends...

"A lovely, very well maintained inn with a restaurant and pub, within walking distance of the ferry terminal. First rate menu with daily specials including fresh seafood. Pub has local ales on hand-pull. Spotless clean rooms with daily maid service. Friendly and competent staff. Note that this establishment is located in a residential neighborhood, so no other stores nearby. "

I had opted for 'pay at property' so it was a big surprise and I barely had enough money in my account for it as me and the other guests were going to split it when we arrived.
