"We stayed at several hotels/BnBs in the Waterford area. This was an excellent budget priced property, Hosts were helpful and polite, Breakfast was very good, Room was clean and updated recently. Excellent value!"

"What a fantastic place to spend an evening. A 10-15 minute drive from Shannon airport this facility is also a 1/4 mile walk from Bunratty Castle and Durty Nellies. Plenty of eateries and places to shop plus a petrol station close to fill up at before returning your rental car. The room was very comfortable and Sean made us a breakfast that was second to none. I will highly recommend staying at this establishment."

"We were visiting Kilkenny and chose Kate’s Rest to stay at. The owner was so kind and took the time to chat and help us with anything we needed, it was a very personable experience. We stayed in a beautiful apartment (we had one double and two twin beds) what came with a kitchen and lovely open shower. The views are unbelievable and it was a great location. We would highly recommend a stay at Kate’s Rest. "

"Nice upper room from a house with a phenomenal view of the bay. Short walk to a local pub. Joe was a great host as he gave us a tip on were to go locally to visit a master craftsman. Enjoyable stay."
