"Serendipity house, lies about their amenities.  You cannot access the patio unless it’s breakfast for only 1.5 hours. There is NO lobby available for you to use. Additionally, there is NO RESTRUANT and NO BAR. They even listed it in the hotel room upon our stay, and neither were available, and the looks of it, they have not been available for quite a while. They do not care that they are lying. When you come you only have access to your room, so don’t plan on having anywhere else to hang out,...

"It’s an older property but the room was clean with tea, coffee, tv and hair dryer provided. Breakfast was lovely. Shower and toilets were shared but this wasn’t a problem. The shower was good enough although it could probably do with some ventilation. All in all value for money when I was just showering, getting back late and sleeping then leaving again. A very short walk from the station too."

"We were greeted by Johnny who was a superb host. Our room was large with a balcony and chairs. The community center was adjacent to the property with a walking track which was fabulous on overcast days when you want to walk but not get caught in the rain. We had asked if there was a refrigerator we could keep a few things in and within an hour or two Johnny’s dad John had bought a new refrigerator for us to use. "The hosts were very friendly and welcoming to our family of six. We rented the larger family suite and everyone was comfortable. The Lodge itself is unique and has great character. Bertie was great with our daughters and made them pancakes with sprinkles 😌. Both hosts were very helpful recommending restaurants and attractions in the area and answered any questions we had. Very personable and we felt right at home there for our 2 nights. Highly recommend!"
