"Beaune is a charming small village/town. Maison 1896 was amazing! They took care of unloading your luggage & parking your car for you. Charming bar/lounge area for an afternoon drink or pre dinner. Their restaurant 'The Slanted Door' had an excellent Asian menu and the food was so outstanding we ordered seconds of two of their main dishes. Rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable and bathrooms sparkled. We had a room with a little balcony that overlooked some of the shops and a church...

"Lovely little hotel on the edge of town center. Amazingly friendly proprietor, very nice breakfast, and clean, updated room with a comfortable bed. Very easy walk into town, nice reserved parking spot behind hotel, and multiple restaurants, bars, and shops a short walk away. Would definitely stay again!"
