"It's truly a boutique hotel, personally owned by one man since 2005. It took him 2 years to renovate a neglected 19th century stable and create a luxurious retreat. The hotel only has 8 rooms (making it the smallest 5-star hotel in France), and it's open during Biarritz' high season, only 4 months. "Iconic hotel on La Concha beach. Can't beat the location! Staff is amazing. Breakfast buffet so yummy, although not inexpensive. The restaurant and bar staff on point. Front desk team helpful. Concierge, while a lovely person, gave a few recommendations that were "duds." The hotel is "older" and we had some issues with our air conditioning maintenance responded changed filters, but it never got to a temperature that was cool enough for us; but it was also a heatwave, so I assume the system was...
