Checking in at the front desk spent us not long but 3 other staffs has come to look at the computer screen and chatting. My privacy was totally not being respected.
Trash bin in toilet was full of used tissues, and the toilet paper roll wasn’t tidy up when I first got into the room. I called to the front desk to complain and they just sent a guy to replace the trash bin and toilet paper roll. Not even to sterilise the toilet area.
They agreed to give us another room upon our request but has kept us waiting in the room for 15 minutes and then a staff knocked on the door to pass us the new key while playing his mobile phone.
I have requested for a smoking room and late checkout at 1:00pm has been remarked for the first room. But the new room I got was a non-smoking room, we didn’t call the front desk as we were too hungry and rushing out for dinner. So my friend had actually stopped smoking throughout our stay.
And finally, front desk called to my room at 11:20am and told me I am late to checkout. Obviously they have forgot to copy the late checkout remark from the first room to new room. My day was ruined as I was waking up by a call which telling me “I am late”.
As per the current Coronavirus outbreak, I trusted every hotel is taking serious precautions to make sure the entire premises is clean, but they has even forgotten the most basic room cleaning procedures.
Customer service was terrible as this is a 4.5 stars hotel of a well known corporation.
