"Only thing we regret is that we only started one night here as we on the way from Portugal to Spain! We couldn’t say enough about this historical hotel and can’t wait to expect one day we return for the longer stay. "Wow!!! This old Palace turned hotel is amazing!!! The service was above first class in all areas. Property was lovely. Breakfast was huge and delicious. We did order a late afternoon meal at the bar area because the restaurant didn’t open til 7:30. we ordered hamburger with fries but it came with chips and we ordered the salad with out chicken. They sent to chicken which was very dry. Loved to walk along the water. We took a 1/2 day private tour of Porto highlights which was excellent "
