"Are you kidding?? What’s not to like, the property is at a perfect location, like NEW, so very clean and updated. The owner was one of the nicest owners you may ever come across. She explained what when where and how, so helpful (our first time in Faro) She will mention the market (a MUST) to shop for local FRESH foods and recommend a few local restaurants."

"Excellent hotel, great breakfast. Park in their garage for 7 E per night or free on the main street 5 min. away. Not much to see or do in Costs Nova but you are on the ocean and only 12 min away from Central Averio. If you think you can sit on the beach don't count on it; the winds are extremely strong most of the time. Still , it's a great spot to stay and get away from the bustle of the city which has plenty of parking, most of it free. Beds in this hotel are descent."

"チェックインの時、70数€を求められた。デポジットか？と聞くがはっきり答えず。仕方ないので支払った。領収書はくれなかった。チェックアウトの時に返して欲しいというが、あれは宿泊代だ、と女性が言う。 私は今年初めに予約した時にクレジットカードで支払ったはず。 二重に宿泊料を取られた。 ポルトガル語は分からず、英語も少ししか話せないので、これで終わった。 だから日本人はダメなんだと言われるが、言葉が通じないのは悲しい。"

"Great location, We kept it as a base to move south and north. Very nice hotel. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was great, Parking inside the hotel had issues as the beams very close but that is a structural issue how it was made. Liked the hotel over all"

"Very friendly and helpful staff, great bar and restaurant, excellent spa, indoor and outside pool options, great access to beach and boardwalk leading to Gaia and Espinho (two smaller cities south of Porto). Rooms also have great view. Very upscale. The only downside is that it’s about a 25 minute car ride to Porto, but the neighboring cities also offer a cool beach town experience (but definitely go to Porto). We would definitely return!"

"We loved this lovingly restored old mercantile/home before we even walked in the door. The owner maintained all the original beauty and characteristics. He even arranged for a local restaurant to make the one meal we love and hadn’t been able to find. Breakfast was absolutely lovely surrounded by so much history."

"LOVE this hotel! Everything was perfect. If you can book room 221 it’s the best one. It has a balcony facing the canal, everything about the room was perfect. The amenities, the bed , the bathroom was large modern and very clean.It was truly amazing. The staff are very professional and knowledgable and the breakfast in the morning is very good. It even had a freshly squeezed orange juice machine."
