The property was located in a beautiful setting overlooking the countryside. The staff we're very accommodating and was very nice. They gave us a celebratory wine when we got engaged at there property. So it became a truly memorable experience.

I have loved this property been there 5 times this is the only time I left slightly disappointed. The food quality and portions sizes for dinner were not up to their standard. I spoke so highly about everything especially the food and my friends were dissatisfied. I was also overcharged 10euros at check out that was in addition to stay tax and cover charge at restaurant which most restaurants don’t charge you if you are a guest staying there. Still amazing place just not sure I will keep going back every year.

Nice place if you are into antiques. Very rustic and nice access to communal balcony from some of the rooms. Dining room very beautiful and good breakfast. However, dirt road with many potholes leading into hotel and poor signage. Some items not replenished in bathroom and bed very hard.

Beautiful Tuscan farmhouse. Somewhat difficult to find initially. Marco was very helpful and the residence was overall veryu pleasing. Excellent breakfast and a really nice onsite restaurant with a number of menu choices. About a 15 minute drive from Cortona. Highly recommend>

Once we found our destination it was a very nicely laid out and spacious farm house rooms, marco was very friendly and a wealth of knowledge for his area. Food was made each night, authetic italian, very good price. Excellent choices for breakfast european style of course

Le Terre Die Cavaliere
Wow. Just wow. This place is a little slice of paradise, and was by far our favorite stay of our vacation-our 17th wedding anniversary trip. It is perfectly situated to explore surrounding hill towns, but we were almost more excited to return home at the end of the night to enjoy the hotel grounds- so serene! It's surrounded by lovely sunflower fields, with an amazing pool area to relax and have a drink or snack at the poolside bar-a great escape from the midday Tuscan heat. The family that owns the hotel and their staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make everyone feel at home. We didn't even bother with dinner reservations in nearby towns, because the dinner service at their on site restaurant was delicious and a great value. Breakfast was included with our room, and offered a much upgraded European continental breakfast than we are accustomed to-the usual meat, cheese, breads, and sweets, but lots of lovely additional options such as quiche, homemade yogurt, homemade breads and tarts, and my favorite-homemade chocolate hazelnut spread. You can tell that no detail has been overlooked; this place is managed with a love and passion for their business. We can't wait to return for a longer stay at Le Terre die Cavaliere!

This place is breathtaking, the staff very friendly and the owners are lovely! This is a place you absolutely do not want to leave. The pool with the view is incredible.

Best Resort in Cortona
This is my third stay at the Le Terre Dei Cavalieri. I just love the resort. The people are warm and friendly. They welcome you back like family. The food is wonderful and there are no better views of the ambiance of Tuscany. Truly a great experience every time.

Words cannot describe the amazing experience at 'Le Terre dei Cavalieri'. The place is so unique and full of character and history, the surroundings are amazing, with an excellent Restaurant in house. The resort is a few minutes away from two beautiful towns like Cortona & Montepulciano. For the shopaholics it is just a 15 minutes dive from a very good Outlet Village. Our stay was made even more special with the help of the personnel, everyone was so helpful and accommodating, especially Paolo, Enrica and all the staff during our breakfasts & dinners. Will definitely return.

Breathtaking scenery in charming Tuscan farmhouse
The views of the surrounding farmland and the hill town of Cortona from the property are stunning. The rooms was spacious and the bed was remarkably comfortable. And the staff are exceptional.

Rustic old house and building converted into hotel
Marco and Erica, who were in Reception, spoke fluent English and were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We were able to discuss our needs on the telephone with them after the initial booking. We were a party of eight adults and two children and they provided extra beds for the children and made sure the food was suitable for our dietary requirements. They arranged for us to use the hotel amenities for the remainder of the day after checking-out time.

Best Hotel in Tuscany
I loved this hotel. It has so much charm, the location is perfect for exploring different towns in Tuscany, the rooms are immaculate, dinners are available each night and a big buffet in the morning. The food is so reasonable and incredibly good. The hotel staff are so helpful and we felt like we were leaving friends when we left.

Home away from home
The staff/owners are so friendly and helpful, we felt like we were being welcomed home by family after a trip abroad. We departed with warm embraces and memories, and we do plan to return, and even extended invitations and hope the hotel owners and front desk manager visit us in the US. A lot of work went into refurbishing this collection of old barn/farm house buildings and grounds. It is a paradise in the middle of a rural area, but still quite close to towns and the train station. Framed photos on the walls of the workers who lived and worked the farmlands over a hundred years ago provide a nice historical context for the current hotel facilities. Breakfasts were a delight, and we dined almost every night for dinner in the hotel restaurant. We will definitely return.

My favourite place in Tuscany
I stayed here only 1 might as I traveled through a lot of south Tuscany. What can I say, it was easily my favourite place and location. Amazing old estate, really well maintained, with very friendly staff and a very very good restaurant (and I don't say that lightly!). Next time I stay I will definitely be staying for more then 1 day!

We had high expectations when we came to Cortona and everything was exceded!The accomodations were nicer than the pictures.The breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious The staff made us welcome and never made you feel you were a bother .We had supper there and it was a lovely dinner no need to drive to town They did our laundry It was 10 euros and all ironed and delivered to our room We cycled and walked in the countryside We hope to return and would stay longer We stayed 5 days and used it for a base One of the best places we have ever stayed in

Great hotel on our honeymoon
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as the first part of our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! The room was large, with breathtaking views of Tuscany from our bed. Very clean room and hotel overall. The staff here was great - very friendly and helpful with any requests we had. We were provided with a map of the area and guidebooks to borrow when we arrived, which was very nice! Quick drive to Cortona, which has excellent restaurants and is a nice area to walk around during the day. The hotel also has a beautiful pool, however it was a bit too chilly while we were there to use it. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would come back!

Terre dei Cavalieri . . . a Cortona must see!
So incredible! Everything about this place was fabulous! Our only regret is not having more time to be there. You need to have a car to get here and although it isn't far it's a little tricky to get to. The service and accommodations were impeccable! The views were phenomenal and the room was perfection. We utilized the pool and the bikes in the beautiful April weather. Breakfast was amazing! Cannot say enough about this wonderful place.

Per un completo relax
Uno dei motivi per cui abbiamo scelto questa struttura è la vicinanza ad Arezzo, e in occasione del Mercato dell'antiquariato è stata la scelta migliore. La struttura è magnifica, ottimi servizi e camere molto ampie e ben tenute. Ottimo anche il ristorante. Unico neo è stata la poca organizzazione nel servizio colazione, varia e abbondante, ma non gestita al meglio.

Leuk resort(je) buiten Cortona
Leuke plek, buiten de drukte van de stad maar wel centraal gelegen. Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia allemaal binnen behapbare afstanden. Op het resort mooie kamers met airco, zwembadje en vriendelijk personeel. Resort heeft ook restaurant waar je ‘s avonds na aanmelding mee kunt eten. Kan handig zijn om na een bezoek aan een stadje nog even het zwembad in te duiken en op het resort te dineren.

Estuvimos alojados 5 noches en este auténtico paraíso, un lugar para desconectar del mundo y relajarse contemplando la maravillosa Toscana. El personal super atento, las habitaciones amplias y limpias, el desayuno muy bueno y variado. La piscina muy bien cuidada y que te invita a disfrutar de un buen baño mientras solo escuchas el canto de los pájaros. La villa muy bien situada para hacer excursiones y conocer esos maravillosos pueblos de la Toscana. Sin duda al que hay que ir y disfrutar.

Toscana - relativt nära till alla måsten!
Mycket bra! Fantastisk mat! Vi bodde i "tornrummet" dvs sviten och man skall då känna till att dot rummet ligger längst upp för en trappa med ca 15-20 trappsteg! Inget alternativt om man har svårt att gå i trappor.
