"Very happy with our self contained unit. Enjoyed the empty space around it but there are 4 possible camp sites beside it and this would be intrusive so you'd have to keep your curtains closed for privacy. Glad that the unit is positioned away from the body of the camping ground so you dont get any noise from the playground or pool. Perfect for non campers like us. Lovely reception staff. "

Right on the beach road (you only have to walk up the driveway to see the beach). "Fantastic place, charming, quiet, Terry a great host/owner; beautiful location 2.5 km walk to downtown Tairua but pitch dark at night, glad I had a reflector vest Basics in place for cooking, TV has Netflix, prime and good channels. Water across the street, complimentary kayaks and shovels for hot beach ( but I was late getting there) Great base to take off in day trips Definitely my go to should I ever return."
