Way over priced , false advertising, they want to charge you for everything. A slice of cheesecake $1500 pesos, 4 seasons juice $250 pesos etc. save your pesos and go some where Eldo, not worth we normally stay at high end resorts but this is no where to the standard

Rooms are not properly maintained. crews in front desk did not give me enough time to check out when i have 3 toddlers and a pregnant family member while they gave us hustle when we check in and gave us a dirty rooms so i decided to upgraded to their old building which is facing in their “ sea view “ while the old building hasnt been updated or remodeled.

To be honest I didn't find anything about the property I liked other than drinks at the bar. Many things about the property I did not like. But it is very popular with a lot of people so take it or leave it. But will not come back.

Property is huge and beautiful. Great food and wonderful hospitable service at earth restaurant. Beautiful selection of pools. Check in was long and they could not find my reservations via Expedia. I waited 30 minutes until everything was sorted out. It was disappointing - but overall experience at the facility was great. Room was comfortable, clean and great view. Rate 4 stars. ♥️

Beautiful resort with numerous pools to choose from. The restaurant was great with plenty of entree options for breakfast and dinner. The rooftop restaurant offered a wonderful view of the city at night and even more scenic ocean view at sunset. The staff are great; professional, uniformed, and assistive to the customer's needs. My only complaint is the cosmetics of the rooms. Some of the mirrors look very old and peeling. Some of the caulk in the bathrooms are also peeling. Overall, the hotel is wonderful and would recommend to anyone wanting a secluded location.

Check-in process was long and have to wait more that 20mins to get out room. Room aircondition was dripping water during the night and did not function well. Staff was excellent, propery needs to be maintened well.

I was disappointed at the frontdesk as soon as I checked in.There was nonline at all but both frontdesks were looking down not checking almost ignoring me on the line.Their website does not work so I booked with Expedia.They asked for the email confirmation from Expedia so I showed the expedia app but that wasn’t enough she had me pull the email so I did as if I had no reservation or they never received the reservation from Expedia. I asked to be upgraded but for some reason it took them a while to figure out that there wasn’t any available so I decided to add a room so there were 4 adults and 2 toddlers but I was only given two waterpark tickets which I do not understand so I asked her how is that possible because I can’t just leave a 4 and 2 year old on their own so she said you have to pay extra 600 php or take one kid at a time like what???!! The rooms were so basic it does not even have a usb charger, the rfloors were sticky like it wasn’t mopped.One of the rooms has very bad cable signal, it was in and out of cable the chanels were so pixelated.The breakfast was so chaotic! We asked for bottled water and we were told to buy outside where they sell popcorn rightoutside the restaurant but we ate at 7 so it was still closed. This hotel is too expensive for what it can offer on top of that the staff I dealt with meh! Never coming back and I do not recommend the property!

Plenty of pools for the adults and kids. There inflatable water park looked like fun but wasn’t for us. I wouldn’t recommend for an older person. There is construction going on a new addition to the water park which will be nice upon completion. Beach disappointment, hot water in your room only early in morning or late at night. My reservation was for 3 people, only gave 2 towels. No hand towels or wash clothes. The food had a very good variety but for me wasn’t anything I would write home about. The free breakfast was pretty good but very over priced for dinner and not worth it in my opinion. My hamburger was not cooked and the bacon was not cooked either. Watch your step on the wet tiles. You can very easily slip and fall. One last thing. They offer shuttle service to pick you up at airport. But they don’t offer a shuttle return trip to airport. Taxi only and an extra 100 peso for taxi to come to resort. Every time taxi ride was different price. I took a taxi from airport. I don’t advise this. Arrange for a shuttle. When we tried to get a taxi all the drivers played dumb and said they didn’t know where resort was. I think about the 8th taxi took us. Of course he could have taken us a shorter route but still only cost us 360 php Trip from resort to airport cost us 600 php. So beware of taxi cab drivers. Always ask how much first. All in all enjoyed our stay, just not the food or transportation to and from. Won’t stay again.

The property is still getting repaired from the tyhpoon .but thats not the hotels fault ,the whole experience at the hotel was fantastic from the food ,the service ,the staff and the facilities and the rooms . A great experience, i would definitely return

The room I booked was a suite supposedly 1 King bed and 2 Twin beds, however, we ended up getting a 1 king bed and a sofa bed. When we saw the room situation, I honestly felt embarrassed to my family. I didn’t complain and just tried to enjoy our stay anyway.

Hello I recently stayed 5 nights at you resort in Mactan Cebu and was pleasantly surprised with the facilities. It has a good atmosphere, clean, well organized and the pools were clean. I can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating your staff members were, they went well and above beyond what i expected. While i was staying i visited several different tourist sites and shopping facilities including different restaurants and i have to admit that the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at your resort were somewhat disappointing, the food was generally cold and the selection was at a minimal compared to other restaurants i visited and your pricing is also almost double what it is in a good restaurant that has much more variety not to mention the food would be hot. We absolutely loved this resort !! Check in was great Joann was very friendly and informative. The property is very well kept and looks incredible. Many pools , waterslides, daycare, children's pool, the view from the 8th floor is breathtaking. The dinner buffet was huge and the staff was great. Or server was Nestirio Zafra. He was so good with our 3 year old giving her ice cream and other snacks. The next morning we were sad to have to checkout but we did go for the breakfast buffet and it was also very huge serving American and Filipino dishes. I will rate this hotel 5 stars !!!! And will definitely return.

The absolute best parts about Solea are the friendly staff and fun inflatable water park which my children enjoyed immensely. Food is very average and if you do not have the buffet breakfast included in your room, you may as well go hungry every morning because the slim offerings a la carte are way overpriced and come out cold. The buffet breakfast to purchase is about 18 USD per person!! so we had a hard time justifying this since it was nothing special. In other words, do your best to have the buffet included in your room price. The dinner buffet is better, but still very average and overpriced. The first room we were put in was on the 2nd floor next to the elevator and with a 'city view'. The elevator kept us awake most of the night followed by the rooster below our window that began crowing at 3AM. We paid an astounding 280 USD per night and so I lodged a complaint. We were moved to a similar room with ocean views but on the 7th floor which was much better for the lack of rooster noise but we were still right next to the elevator. Oh well. it was better at least. That was until we realized that we could not get water from our shower for most of the day. Not a drip. For 6 days. Then there was the rooftop lounge right above us that had the staff rearranging the furniture every night at 12:45 AM for 20 minutes. Scraping and squeaking away until we were all wide awake. I could go on. Avoid this place if you want any sleep. Go anywhere else and get a day pass for the park.

WORST HOTEL
We had two reservations. One is a suite which they insisted that ONLY TWO PERSON ONLY. That room is supposed to be for 4PERSON. They asked us to pay extra. Btw, EVERYTHING IS EXTRA MONEY, NO MORE EXCITEMENT FOR THE GUESTS TO ENJOY THE HOTEL. The second room that we booked is with the balcony(clearly stated on the reservation) but the front office lady gave us different room. They gave us one without balcony and we asked to have the room we reserved. The FO said we have to have extra. SERIOUSLY? We booked with the balcony and we don’t get it. After we settle check in, we had friends that is going to drop us off, they all came with us inside the room, then FO called saying we need to charge you since there’s more people going to your rooms. This is very disrespectful!! When we were checking out they said have a seat and we’ll let you know, after 10mins no one did, we had to approach them to ask if we can have our 4,000 deposit! They said “Oh yea your room is good.” They said there going to let us know but they never did. We’ve been staying in different hotels and this one is the worst. No care about guests, they want money. Be careful. THEY WANT MONEY MORE THAN THE HAPPINESS OF THE GUESTS!

it was not good the first night we had no hot water. so they moved us to other room and we broke a glass in the move and they charged us 200 peso for the glass. the next room had no ac so we are only there three nights so we stayed in the room and were not happy. and the people at the front desk could care less

We visited Cebu Philippines and checked in for 3 rooms all in all and thats for 2 nights since we have guests (friends and family). After the first night they said they will charge us for the extra person that stayed the night which is the just the nanny. The second day they said they will charge us 400 php for that 1 missing towel.? what are we going to do with that towel? Also, we had 3 rooms checked Im sure that towel was just misplaced.. We will never come back here. Very disappointed.

The pools are really awesome, the rooms are old and need fixing up. No gym. Room service took a long time and kept mucking up the orders. Buffet was amazing. The area around this place isn’t very nice and ur far away from even the most basic of shops. Not ideal for the price. Goto marco pole hands down

The best value for money!
We had a pleasant 3 nights stay at Solea. I don't normally leave a review but after our stay this resort deserves a good one. Check in staff, Deo, was very accommodating and very professional in handling a little issue. They had sent an update of their room description to all online booking agents but was not carried out particularly by hotels.com or Expedia. Assistant Manager, Jovenella, jumped in and took care of our issue gracefully and very professionally. THANK YOU sir, ma'am! The place has a very nice atmosphere although it happens to be fully booked. I have to mention that ALL their staff are very accommodating and nice people! Everything was awesome and we would stay again next time.

Worst airport pickup - advise not to avail it, paid 1k one-way for a worst service. Took Grab going back to airport at its better ang cheaper.
