we got stuck during a snowstorm and our plans were shot. it didn't matter, we stayed inside and drink hot chocolate and played cards in front of the fireplace. nice staff, they kept the sidewalks clean and offered a clean broom to clean off our vehicle. it was a win win.

Great location, nearby shops and restaurants. Loved the breakfast (biscuits and gravy, plus the waffle). Room was clean, beds were clean. A/C worked well.

Great location and friendly staff. We had some issues with the snow buildup in the parking lot, and a short shower curtain that left the bathroom floor very wet after showers. My biggest complaint was the lack of drinking water - they have ice however. We came from a different Americinn 20 miles west of this location due to weather. The other property is in Williamsburg, Iowa and is much nicer regarding the beds, pillows, and television with cable, and filtered water with ice - but more expensive.

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet was decent. Only real complaint is location was not near anything. Nothing was walking distance, everything was 15-20 minutes by car to get to River landing, Kinninck or downtown Iowa city.

Location of this property is excellent. The staff were VERY friendly. We had problems with the snow buildup in the parking lot, and a short shower curtain that left the floor soaked during our showers. My biggest complaint is the lack of drinking water. They have ice, but no fresh water available. We moved from a nearby Americinn Williamsburg, Iowa to this one (twenty miles apart), and the Williamsburg property was MUCH nicer. The beds, pillows, television with cable channels were superior in the Williamsburg property - which is higher priced.

Clean facility, location near mall and other shopping, felt safe, plenty of parking, clean rooms. Rooms could use some updates or refresh, but overall clean and spacious. Was there for football game so prices were high but so was every other hotel. I was charged $15 early check in fee even though I was there at 2pm for a 3pm check in.

Check in went fine, staff was nice and room was quiet. Hotel is outdated, room was outdated, door a little hard to get closed, room did not seem clean/wiped down at all, looked like water damage/possible mold by pipe by toilet, opened window shades and window looked like it had never been cleaned. At least the sheets/bed seemed clean. We got in late went to sleep and as soon as we woke up we checked out. Lots close by but will opt to stay somewhere else next time

Wouldn’t be my first pick but the room was pretty clean. Basic. I like the coziness of the lobby. We had a jacuzzi in our room that should seriously just be removed, but otherwise it was fine.
