"Lovely big rooms and helpful staff. Room def in need of modernisation but big with everything you’d need. Barman particularly helpful. Lovely location and although just off main road which made it easy was extremely quiet. Would recommend"

If you are looking for a relaxing break forget it as it is geared towards hen weekends/ spa breaks and multiple weddings. Property maintenance is sadly lacking everything looks tired and rundown. The drawer in our bedside cabinet would not close and the shower barely clung onto the wall. Suggest requesting a room somewhere quiet if there is such an area. Dated in appearance across lots of areas and small details in the room let it down - poor quality hairdryer, pillows were clearly old and misshapen, having to pay for the crisps left out etc. Our main issue was room was unbearably hot, given the recent weather, with no air conditioning so we both had a really uncomfortable night (not) sleeping there.
