My husband and I stayed 3 nights here with our dog. We loved it 😍 The room was clean, I didn't find any bedbugs. The pool was so wonderful and refreshing. We will go back again. The people who take care of the place are so friendly.

The property is older and slightly outdated but it provides the small town feel. The staff was great during my stay and it felt like I was around long time friends not just a guest at a motel. The pool was nice and had plenty of chairs for guests and I was able to get the rest and relaxation I was hoping for.

Decent pool questionable room

The guy who is running the place is really nice and very friendly to my family. The room was very dated like late 60's or early 70's. There was satillite TV though which entertain my youngest child till bed time. The pool was really clean and kept up which was a drastically difference from the room. I feel with some updates it would be a nice charming getaway spot away from the business of the tourist area.

the staff was very friendly. the room was clean except for one damp corner in the bathroom. very easy to find. nice and close to the lake. the property is old so the room is very outdated. my only major problem was we reserved a king size room and got two doubles. we are large folks so we slept in separate beds

A shirt walk to the beach and restaurants on the beach. We stayed in the cute and cozy, comfortable little cabin that has the coldest ac unit I have ever experienced. Has a pool, playground for kids and a fire pit!! The staff are friendly, talkative and attentive. It was a fun quick getaway from the city. If you are looking for accommodations that boast luxuries like spas or on site bar and restaurant, this is not for you... But if you like family and pet friendly qetaways for lake fishing, walks on a sandy beach and beachfront bars, this is for you. The main town is on the other side of the lake, so enjoy the peaceful nights.

Traveled late at night. Paid 500.00 on my credit card for 22nd December tru December 28. Spent 2 hours looking for pet friendly hotel. After traveling til 11:30 at night to get to my paid for room. I WAS TOLD NO CAT!. .the older woman running hotel was rude and told me to go elsware with my cat. I am a 59 year old single woman who spent my birthday..December 23 sleeing in my car at a truck stop in the middle of snowstorm.. not a very pleasurable experience. Would not recommend. False advertisment..

Stayed there on a quick girls trip to the lake. Three of us checked in at 3..room was cozy with a 70’s vibe throughout. I thought the owners were really nice. Only complaint and not really big..the floor is lamented so it needs a good mopping. It was clean from visible dirt but our socks and feet were dirty from the floor. Overall a 10 out of 10

I had booked a room on September 11th for the pumpkin fest October 10-12th. I had booked a delux room with 1 king size bed. When we had arrived, the lady out us in a room that had 2 small double beds. When I had asked why this had happened she told me without knowing that I booked the room the ppl had booked that room the following week. I had begun to tell and show her my receipt from when I booked a month ago. All I was told was to talk to another guy when he woke up. We never seen the guy the rest of our stay. I will be calling and speaking with someone Monday morning as I did not get the room I payed for/booked. I'm hoping when I call and actually speak to someone who may have known I booked that they can either reimburse me or maybe a book me stay for next year's pumpkin fest for the room I payed for. It was just so convenient for us and everywhere we needed to go or be was very close to the motel.it wasn't super clean but I always take my own cleaning supplies and clean before we get settled in. The housekeeper was very friendly and attentive while we stayed and always made sure she asked if we needed anything.

The manager on site was very nice when we needed something he provided it immediately. He was the best part of our stay. There was a coffeemaker in room but no coffee, fortunately we had brought our own. The heating system it was either 100 in the room or freezing no in between. We never saw housekeeping (our stay was four days). The parking lot was a total sheet of ice. We weren’t expecting five star service but I think the hotel could put in a little more effort. If I were to return to this area I would not stay there again.

Staff was personable enough but room (at least ours) was horrible! I took pics of our room with bugs, cobwebs, flooring issues, refrigerator with rusty hand applied clasp to hold closed (leftover food from last tennant inside it), peeling wallpaper, horrible shower stall & dirty air conditioner grate among others. Wished I could have posted these! NEVER AGAIN!

5 star room that was rated 10 stars in disguised

This was a 5 star hotel that fell through the cracks and got rated as a 10 star. The room was clean but it was last updated around the 1950's. The walls and fridge was so old it has old stains on them. There is no bath shower only. The shower door was broken causing light flooding in the bathroom.
