"Check in was easy. Apartment was roomy for the 4 of us & our luggage. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was very nice with great storage for our toiletries. Location was great as you can walk to many restaurants & Pubs. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Coffee, tea, juices too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend & stay again. "

"We asked for a double. It was advertised that it was 279 sq ft. The room we are in is not even close to 279 sq ft. We are being charged $400 per night for a room that is not as advertised. Lots of other issues, like a shower that will flood the bathroom if you don’t block the water with your body at all times. We only see windows from the other rooms 40’ away that look directly into ours even tho our room was advertised as having a city view. Also advertised as having an in room safe-we didn’t...

"Clifden, Abbeyglen castle and this part of the west coast of Ireland are absolutely stunning. Don’t miss the Prosecco Welcome and the hotel owners talk on the history of the local area and Abbeyglen Castle itself. It was absolutely fascinating, occasionally humorous and brought everything to life. The owner remembered our names from the moment we were introduced. Very rare! "Did not get the breakfast but the room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the tea kettle and chocolates. The shower pressure was good. Only problem was that housekeeping was cleaning rooms very early and it woke us up early, but the front desk staff said he would let the manager know and compensated us for our trouble, which was terrific customer service. I would recommend this hotel based on quality and proximity of Latin Quarter"

"Spotless, very well-equipped cabin in the most stunning location. The views of the Atlantic and Downpatrick head are stunning. The cabin is extremely well heated and the WiFi connection is perfect. Hob, fridge, microwave, toaster available within the pod to bring your own food and cook as needed. One of my favourite spots I have stayed in Ireland!"

"Castlehacket House is an amazing place in a very lovely, but remote location. We were very well taken care of in a beautiful room with a lovely breakfast the next day. The hosts took care of all the guests at breakfast with a very personable service and it is somewhere I would not hesitate to return too."
